4 College Junior

Campus Housing: The amenities are great, especially sophomore dorms, but curfew is ridiculous and some RA's are well meaning but too nosy.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: It does what it needs to do. It rarely gets filthy, which is nice.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Students who live on campus are usually very happy with it.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Living in the Gardner dorm was a very unique experience. I really enjoyed the space that was given to us, each room was surprisingly spacious even with two girls living in each room. However the bathrooms were very out-dated and never cleaned to the extent that they should have been. Overall the dorm was a great first place to live in my college career but could be even better with a few changes.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Abilene Christian a university requires freshmen and sophomore to live on campus while juniors and seniors live off campus. ACU has the same dorms since 1970s only

Nelson hall has been renovated. Don't expect spacious dorms until sophomore year and even those aren't that big. Your resident community truly depends on your RA. If your RA is wonderful and plans lots of hall activities than you will have a close knit hall but if your RA does not do anything then your community won't be close knit.

I lived in Nelson and it was a wonderful experiment. The professors in residence had fondue nights for the residents and invited us over for dinner. We had a Nelson and McDonald Easter Egg Hunt and Potluck this year.
