What made you choose your school? I knew that I wanted to attend a school that wasn't too expensive and was relatively close to where I lived in New York. Binghamton was close by and was a nice balance between being a moderately sized student population and still having a wonderfully diverse student body.
What activity makes you happy? Hiking. There is no activity I can think of that gives me more peace or focus.
What is your biggest pet peeve? When people leave hair in the shower drain and when The Daily Show goes on a week long hiatus.
What is something about you that might surprise someone? I can stand on my head and recite things at the same time.
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? My favorite book is "Islandia" by Austin Tappan Wright. It's an epic science fiction adventure packed into one thousand pages and it doesn't need to be broken up into a series in order to be enjoyable. My favorite TV shows are The Colbert Report because he's hilariously straightforward while maintaining a character and "The Office" just because it's "The Office".
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I would love to go to Turkey because of it's history and it's geographical location as a place where different cultures merge.
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I would want to be a female Dr. Manhattan.
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? I would pay off all my outstanding debts, give some money to my family, and give the rest away to philanthropic endeavors.
What are your plans for after graduation? I plan on obtaining my masters in archival library science and furiously writing upon any surface that I am allowed to.
