What made you choose your school? As soon as I went through the stone archways to enter the town of Montreat I knew that that's where God wanted me to be. When I toured the campus there were hardly any students there, since it was summertime, but I fell in love with it anyway. The staff and faculty were amazing, the campus was gorgeous, and it was in North Carolina, where I wanted to go to school.
What activity makes you happy? I love writing and reading; I could do either one all day... when I'm not hiking, fishing, biking, camping, watching movies or playing my violin/fiddle, of course.
What is your biggest pet peeve? Slow computers/Internet.
What is something about you that might surprise someone? I'm a HUGE comic book fan.
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? My favorite movie is "The Dark Knight". It was so expertly made, and so well thought out, that it made for a movie I've seen at least a few dozen times.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I would go to Ireland because it's so beautiful and I'd love to check out the music and arts festivals.
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I would be able to fly and breathe underwater.
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? I would pay off my student loans and car payments and make a down payment on a farmette. I'd donate the rest to family and friends.
What are your plans for after graduation? Who knows? I hope to go to grad school and get my master's (and, eventually, my Ph.D) in communications while working in some form of journalism, but we'll see.
