What made you choose your school? JMU was affordable and offered a major that suited me best. Plus, the atmosphere at JMU seemed so warm and inviting, unlike any other school I've seen. I had also been aware of the fantastic Forbes Center on Main Campus.
What activity makes you happy? I love playing piano, writing, and acting. During a spare moment, you'll find me entertaining myself in some way or another. I'm also a biking enthusiast!
What is your biggest pet peeve? I hate aggressive drivers!
What is something about you that might surprise someone? I actually enjoy just sitting down and reciting Shakespeare. It seems affected to so many people, but I legitimately get chills every time I read one of his tragedies.
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? My favorite book is The Clique by Lisi Harrison. It taught me the social hierarchy of preteen-teen girls in such a honest yet bleak way. Other books try to sugar-coat what goes on in middle schools, while The Clique offers an uncensored, unbridled take.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I would travel to Israel. I'm a member of my school's Hillel program, and am inspired to explore any and all of the main tourist attractions, such as Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and the Dead Sea.
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I would love to have the ability to rewind and fastforward through time, being able to relive the events that mean the most. And of course, skate through the ones that may not be as pleasant.
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? The obvious answer would be to donate, which I would do in small increments over time. But with the other hundreds of thousands, I would likely buy a house with modernized, well-to-do furniture. Lastly, I would spend the remainder on a lavish vacation around Europe.
What are your plans for after graduation? After graduating, I plan to involve myself in some aspect of media. I'm still a bit murky on specifically on what I'm going to do, but I know the general path.
