What made you choose your school? I chose Carnegie Mellon because they were just quirky enough to make me feel at home. I never feel out of place here, and while academics is super important, teachers, administrators, and advisers really want to help students stay true to themselves and their interests. It's also small enough to form lasting relationships with teachers and other students, but not too small to feel stifled.

What is your biggest pet peeve? People chewing with their mouths open. It drives me crazy!

What is something about you that might surprise someone? My music taste. It's incredibly eclectic and while I love my Top 40 hits, it's just as common to see me rocking out to classic rock or chilling to classical music.

What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? My favorite book has to be Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky because it was the first book that I was required to read for school that I absolutely loved. I had being told to read specific books, and this novel restored my faith that English teachers know what they are talking about.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I really want to go to Manchester England to see a Manchester United football (soccer) game.

If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? Goodbye student loans! I'd also help my parents out with their mortgage, maybe buy one or two really nice things, and then save the rest so I don't rest on my laurels.

What are your plans for after graduation? I really hope to work for a fashion magazine as a writer, editor, or really anything else they need.
