What made you choose your school? I was drawn to Cal Poly initially due to the academic rigor and physical location. What made me realize that Cal Poly was the school for me was Open House when the ASI President asked me if I was coming to Cal Poly. The fact that she was so excited for me made me realize how much people care at Cal Poly, and then I was sold.

What activity makes you happy? I love going line dancing on Thursday nights! Hanging out with my friends and playing Catchphrase is also something that never ceases to put a smile on my face.

What is your biggest pet peeve? My biggest pet peeve is when people tell me they aren't smart. Multiple intelligences, people!

What is something about you that might surprise someone? I'm bilingual! No one expects me to be able to speak Spanish well.

What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? I read a lot of nonfiction. I've been reading Ron Clark's books on classroom management and I've found them to be so inspirational. My favorite movie is Friends With Benefits because a) I love Mila and Justin in general and b) I love how sassy the characters are! I love shows like Say Yes to the Dress...or anything on TLC, really. I don't have cable, though, so I rarely get to watch!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I want to travel to the southern part of Spain since I am in love with Spain (especially since I just got back from studying abroad there). My next trip will probably be to Spain, followed by Israel.

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I would want to fly and have a weightless purse/backpack. Books and technology are heavy!!

If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? I would pay for grad school and see the world.

What are your plans for after graduation? I'll give you my dream situation for right now. I'm done school in March and am planning on returning to Spain for a month to get even better at Spanish. Then, I am going to Israel. After Israel, I hope to work at a camp that I have worked at for the past few summers. I hope to start grad school at USC and also the Apple Store Leader Program in August of 2013.
