Q: How is the winner chosen?
A: At the end of each month, the winning entry is randomly selected from all entries generated during the month.
Q: What happens if I don't win this month? Am I eligible to win next month?
A: Entries are only valid for the month that they are generated, but you can take a survey again in the next month to enter again.
Q: What is a "valid" survey?
A: Valid means that the survey responses are appropriate and helpful. For example, writing a three sentence review of the professors at your school is helpful. Writing a three word review is not helpful.
Q: Can I enter both your "No Essay" scholarship and your monthly College Survey scholarship?
A: Yes, you are welcome to enter both scholarships.
Q: Can graduate students apply?
A: Yes. The contest is open to all college students.
Q: Can alumni apply?
A: Alumni who have graduated college within the last 2 years are welcome to apply. Should they win the scholarship, they would be able to use the money to pay off student loans or continue their education.
Q: I am an adult student. Can I apply?
A: Yes, you are welcome to apply.
Q: My school does not have an authored guidebook written about it on College Prowler. Can I still apply?
A: Yes! Getting people like you to fill out the survey is the first and most important step to getting your school covered.
Q: Can high school students apply?
A: No. You can only apply if you are currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program or have been enrolled at some point in the last 2 years.
Q: How do I know if I've won the scholarship?
A: We will contact all contest winners via e-mail. All winners will be posted on the website.
Q: Will I get an e-mail back confirming that you've received my entry?
A: Yes. You should receive an email. Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive this email. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours, please email email@example.com.
